It's done...at least the creating & printing part

Since this past Thursday, I have had the pleasure to hold printed copies of my comic book, E.I. #1. Going from thought to reality was a rather long and at times painful process. Despite what is written in some books on the subject ("How To Self-Publish Your Own Comic Book" by Tony Caputo was the one I used most often), there are more little details that can bog you down even if you're paying attention. The two things one must have in order to see one's comic come to print is determination & money. Also having the quality of being of "Say what you mean & mean what you say" is quite helpful. Paying on time and what you say you will is also a really good idea. From here on in, its' about writing issue #2, getting my other ideas out of head and on to paper, and promoting the hell out of E.I. #1.
